Hello readers! A shorter, blockchain heavy newsletter today. If you take away one thing from today’s issue, remember this:
Private blockchains are evolution; the Bitcoin blockchain is the revolution

Blockchain
Eris Industries defines blockchains
Dell’s Tumble, Google’s Fumble, And How Government Sabotage Of Internet Security Works
I'm the proud new owner of +theblockchain!
Scaling Bitcoin
Phase II of Scaling Bitcoin, a technical conference is coming to Hong Kong this coming weekend. The main focus of discussion will be how we can make Bitcoin handle more transactions and the consequences of different approaches.
Leo Weese and I are on the planning committee in our roles as representatives of the Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong and helping with the local logistics.
We’ve put together a series of items for first time visitors to Hong Kong at request of some of our US-based colleagues. Particularly interesting, is that Leo is offering to refund Hong Kong Dollar balances remaining on visitors’ Octopus NFC contactless transport cards. Mail in your Octopus Card and he sends you Bitcoin.
